What joint enforcement actually means
The action launched on September 17 brings together park management, forestry, forest police, market regulation and ecology authorities. The official source says two corridors in the Chengbu section host many resting migrants in April–May and September–November, with intensified day-and-night patrols over the next two months.
This is conservation and enforcement news, not a prediction that a rarity will pass a particular point tonight. The source gives no species list, count or visitor access point, so this page invents none and withholds night-migration locations.
A flyway is not a spotlight photography route
Mountain migrants may rest in woodland, where bright lights, torches, shouting and crowding add energy costs and collision risk. Watch only by day from public roads or formal facilities. Do not leave the route, illuminate passes or forest edges, or use sound to attract birds.
Autumn mountain weather changes quickly. Check forecasts, fire rules and temporary controls, travel with companions and leave before dark. Cooperate immediately with patrols, checks and turn-back instructions; a patrol gap is not permission to enter a closed area.
Reporting suspicious activity safely
If you find nets, trapping equipment, sales posts or pursuit of migrants, do not dismantle equipment, chase anyone or confront them. From safety, note a broad area, time, behaviour and vehicle details and submit them to forestry or police.
Do not post photographs that reveal enforcement deployments, patrol gaps or bird resting sites. Responsible reporting protects both birds and the reporter while preserving evidence. Use official channels and do not turn an unverified suspicion into a public accusation.
