60种是累计名录，不是一天保证
宝鸡市林业局8月29日报道，植物园与宝鸡市观鸟协会通过拍照记录和实地核实，把园内累计鸟类名录从42种更新到60种，其中包括5种国家二级保护鸟类。官方还在观景台附近增加鸟类标识，并印制科普手册。
这个数字反映多季节、长期调查结果，不代表一次散步能够看到60种。天气、迁徙进程、植被和游客活动都会改变当天鸟况；新手可把记录10种常见鸟及其行为作为更现实的目标。
怎样找鸟与辨识
报道指出，观察记录较集中在银杏林和清莲湖周边。只在开放步道和湖岸停留，先用耳朵判断鸣声方向，再用8至10倍双筒镜扫描树冠、灌丛和水边；不要为了角度钻进绿化带。
红嘴相思鸟体型小，嘴鲜红、喉部黄橙，常成小群在林下活动；夜鹭成鸟有黑色头背、灰翼和红眼，黄昏更活跃。幼鸟斑纹差异很大，照片不清时应保留为未定种。
适合亲子的文明观察
让孩子轮流找鸟、记颜色和行为，比追赶更有收获。控制音量，不投喂面包、谷物或零食，不播放鸟鸣，也不要围住正在取食、洗浴或休息的鸟。
只分享“宝鸡植物园”这一公共地点，不发布疑似巢穴或夜栖树的精确位置。若鸟持续警戒、停止取食或飞离，应立即后退；公园管理和临时封闭提示始终优先。
Sixty is a cumulative list, not a one-day promise
Baoji Forestry reported on August 29 that photographic records and field verification by the garden and Baoji Birdwatching Association expanded the cumulative list from 42 to 60 species, including five nationally Class II protected species. New interpretation signs and field guides have also been added.
The total spans seasons and repeated surveys. It does not mean a visitor will see 60 species on one walk. Weather, migration, vegetation and visitor activity change the day list; for a beginner, recording ten common birds and their behaviour is a better goal.
Where to look and how to identify
The official report highlights the ginkgo woodland and Qinglian Lake area. Stay on open paths and public lakesides, listen before scanning canopy, shrubs and water margins with 8–10× binoculars, and never enter planted beds for a better angle.
Red-billed Leiothrix is a small flocking woodland bird with a bright red bill and yellow-orange throat. Adult Black-crowned Night Herons have a black crown and back, grey wings and red eyes, and are often more active toward dusk. Juveniles look very different, so leave uncertain photos unidentified.
A responsible family visit
Let children take turns finding birds and noting colour or behaviour. Keep voices low, never offer bread, grain or snacks, and do not use playback or surround a feeding, bathing or resting bird.
Share only the public garden name, never the exact position of a suspected nest or roost tree. Retreat if a bird stays alert, stops feeding or leaves. Current park rules and temporary closures always take priority.
